Kamik Slasher 3 Boots : Do You Have Enough Winter for Them? Well, do you?
Since my idea of fun always includes deep snow, endless trails, and the inevitable run-in with mud, these Kamik boots protect me for mother nature’s worst winter elements. The boot design prevents snow and mud from getting in, while the four-layer Zylex liner wicks moisture, resists the growth of odor-causing bacteria, and provides cushioning, leaving my feet dry, warm, and cozy. My Slasher 3 Boots have excellent traction, which is important for a Minnesotan like me. I have yet to slip on icy or sloped surfaces. I’ve worn these Kamiks for a few months, and the sole still feels firm. Considering how much I use them, it's surprising how well these boots prevent sore feet and foot cramps. Most important, these boots have a traditional, but purposeful, style. Don't think I haven't noticed the admiration or the occasional jealous stare whenever I wade into knee-high snow. These boots can also be used for industrial work in grimy conditions. Despite their large size, I find them remarkably nimble. Moreover, the outer layer is acid and corrosion resistant, which makes them great for road work or warehouse usage. Or shoveling out my driveway after a huge snowstorm. Bottom Line: For a low price these stylish, rugged, and comfortable boots get me where I need to be. If you take care of them, they will last several long years.--M.O.
